Ottoline Small Plate, Set of 4

A small plate — the right size for a wedge of hard cheese, a slice of cake, or a piece of jammy toast. A single wreath of paired teal leaf sprigs winds like an abundant garland around the rim on a pale blue-grey line — no scroll border, no outer band, just that one unhurried circuit of leaves that rewards the lingering eye.

Tess Newall developed the motifs in this collection from English garden fireplaces and country houses, the Bloomsbury Group's painted interiors among them, alongside the Italian majolica and French faience collected by artists of that era on their travels.

Sold as a set of four, each plate is slightly different. Hand-painted in Portugal.
