Ottoline Small Plate, Set of 4

A small plate — the right size for a wedge of hard cheese, a slice of cake, or a piece of jammy toast. A single wreath of paired leaf sprigs in warm ochre and pale blue-grey winds like an abundant garland around the rim — the same quiet circuit as the Azure, but pulled into the earthier palette of Charleston's interiors rather than its Mediterranean references.

Tess Newall developed the motifs in this collection from English garden fireplaces and country houses, the Bloomsbury Group's painted interiors among them, alongside the Italian majolica and French faience collected by artists of that era on their travels.

Sold as a set of four, each plate is slightly different. Hand-painted in Portugal.
